How to fry a mac!!!!

We thought of water...but we want to be able to hopefully use the fried computer as a cross section for our display. We need something that won't show physical damage, liquid damage or anythin like that!

You don't want to donate the Mac and then fry an old beige G3 and Apple 17" Multi-scan display instead?

not that there'd be any realistic way of exchanging them but just a thought considering what's taking up so much space in my flat at present and how long in the tooth my current mac is getting now too!

Use it for anything beyond Twittering in Starbucks. Use it like a Windows business machine. That seems to kill them quickly enough.

That, or AC current applied straight to the Magsafe should be sufficient - although it depends on the level of fryage you wish to achieve.

Sounds like a bit of an insurance scam type of experiment to me.
Either way it sounds pointless and wasteful.

Shameful. Just shameful.

Outside of thinking you should use an older one and give the newer one to charity at the very least - if you want to damage it beyond repair without showing any physical signs of the damage, just remove the HD. People looking at the project won't know any better, and at the end of day you'll be a Mac up on the deal.
