Hi all,

I am an iPhone Developer developing an application which is an based on the concept of Image Album Management.

I want to provide the functionality to set the image as the wallpaper (the background image on the "slide to unlock" screen).

I couldn't find the way to sort this thing out!

Please help!

I think you may run into a copyright issue when developing this app. Every artist that I can think of has their album art copyrighted, so applying it as a wallpaper may be a violation of that. I am not a lawyer but I just wanted to bring that up. I am just trying to help.

With the question, this thread belongs in the iPhone Programming forum (http://forums.macrumors.com/forumdisplay.php?f=135). You will probably get more help there.

By Image Album Management I didn't mean that I don't wish to violate any copyright, I am preparing an photo libreary and that will contain photo taken from camara.

So if you know anything about the problem i have describe above please let me know!!! :)

Ok! I just didn't want you, or any devs, to get in trouble! Looking back at my post, I don't know why I thought you were using album artwork. I know that applying a wallpaper programmatically is possible. This function is executed with the If Found app (http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=284489612&mt=8). Once you enter information, you can set the If Found information as you wallpaper without going to the Wallpaper screen.
