any news on overclocking a G4 ibook?

I wouldn't do it, overclocking ANY laptop is very dangerous. Especially with the size contraints of apple laptops, heat becomes a very big deal.

I agree with Blackheart although the older G3 iceBooks were overclockable with software settings as long as you knew where to look. And it wasn't a 'soft' overclock either. Those G3s were really bumped 100Mhz.

However, I don't think anyone has ever sucessfully overclocked a G4 in a laptop. (Now in a desktop, that's a different story. )
