I'm going to sell my 16 Gb iPod touch, and was wondering what price could I expect to get. It's scratch free on the back as I have protective clear plastic on in. The front is in equally good order. It's fully functional and I've paid for the new software. It'll come with the box and everything that arrived, plus a silicone cover.
I'm in Australia if that makes a difference.
So if anyone can give me a ball park value before I put it up on ebay that would be great.
Reason I'm selling it is, I want a larger music player that can fit most if not all of my music on, something 16gB can't do now that I've reripped my music at 320kb and some at lossless too (before at 256kb I could only just fit all my music on it, and nothing else).
Thanks in advance.

Is it first or second generation? The second gen has a volume rocker and speaker, as well as a tapered body.

It would be a 1st gen since he had to pay for the software update.

Yeah it's a first gen. I should have mentioned that.

This should be posted in the marketplace as a feeler thread!

I don't have enough posts, nor have I been a member long enough to access the market place.
I'm not advertising to sell it so I think this post is okay; I just was an approximate value of iPod so I don't get lowballed, or hold out for too much, when I do sell it.

Sorry...as noted above, "feeler" and "price check" threads are required to be in the Marketplace forum, as they have a tendency to very quickly turn into "for sale" threads.
