Anyone ever make a lamp out of a Cube case?

I can get my hands on 2 old Cubes (just the acrylic cases) and was thinking of maybe turning them into lamps or some sort of lighting fixture. Anyone ever do this or hear about this being done.

I've seen the fishtank ones and that got me thinking.

ive never heard of it but make sure to post pics when you do it!

I've made a number of lamps out of Airport Base stations, which works very well, I've also made a feature light out of a Mac Classic. The Cube should work but it's going to take some careful planning to get a good clean installation. Potentially it could be awesome, good luck, don't forget to post some pics.
