I am using the philips iphone adapter (http://www.target.com/Philips-iPhone-Microphone-Adapter/dp/B0015C5CSM/sr=1-1/qid=1233207897/ref=sr_1_1/181-6657983-6259910?ie=UTF8&index=target&rh=k%3Aiphone%20adapter&page=1) on my ipod touch 2g.. It works great as a recording device, however, I have mixed experience when using it on voip apps (fring/nimbuzz/truphone). Most of time, i start making a call, I will only hear my own voice/noise through it and no call can be made, and after i hang up and try again for three or four times, it will work. It will mute the music if I am listening, but i will still hear the noise for the first few times. :(
Is this a well know bug or something about this adapter? any solution? Thanks :)
