Does anyone know why you can't write any text in hotmail when your using safari?
Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 2_2 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/525.18.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.1.1 Mobile/5G77 Safari/525.20)
Just setup the mail account on your iPhone. Problem solved.

You can try forwarding all your hotmail emails to a gmail account so that you can view them on your iphone. I use this method since, for the time being, there is no POP or IMAP access for hotmail. Microsoft is rumored to release this service soon. Let me know if you need help setting this up. As for the safari question, sorry but I'm not sure.

Something said to criticize something for being stupid. I know it doesn't make sense and can be offensive to homosexuals.

I understood the context he/she was using it in. It saddens me that people allow themselves (and others) to use "gay" in a derogatory context. It also saddens me that "these" people have such a limited vocabulary.

Currently, you need to have a Hotmail Plus account ($20/year) to get pop3 access to your account. Than you can use the build in Mail app.
The other alternative is to buy an app from the app store. There is one that gives you access to all your mail folders and contacts. Don't know the name of the app from the top of my head. Just search for "Hotmail" in the app store.

That's not correct, you can use the inbuilt mail app for any hotmail account now ..
Just add a new email account and when prompted pick "other", put in your hotmail account email address/password and the iPhone will do the rest.
:)

Hmmm, just put in my hotmail details, and a message came up saying you need to upgrad your hotmail account. Then it opened my inbox, and it looks like its working?! How strange.
Do you know how to mark all iphone emails as read?

Microsoft is allowing POP3 access to anyone in the United States. Just enter in your account details in the mail application and you should be set. I've tried it myself and it is working.

Does anyone know why people still use Hotmail? It annoys me. Use G-Mail or get your own website with e-mails.

I've been using mine since 1999. I don't know why hotmail would annoy you. What someone uses as their e-mail address is their own business.
