Deleted site on iweb..saved on HD how to reopen?

I built my website on iweb and when I'd finished and published it I saved the folder to my external HD and deleted it from iweb. I now want to edit it and cannot open it in iweb. Am I doing something wrong as I don't get the option to open it with iweb.
 
The iWeb file is a large bundle of all the resources. When you select publish it does some stuff and outputs standard HTML and whatever else it needs. The problem here is that iWeb does not edit HTML files, it only edits iWeb files. Sorry.
