I have just borrowed a digital camcorder, the panasonic PV-DV52, and apparently to connect to my "pc" I need a DV interface cable. Is there any kind of mac convertor for this? to get it on firewire?

I'm not familiar with that particular model, but unless it's one heck of an oddball camcorder, the "DV Interface" cable should be a standard 4 to 6 pin FireWire cable. Ask any computer store, they should have it.
