Hey guys,
This question even sounds confusing to me, but I need some advice. I'm trying to make a PSA where a boy will look into the mirror and see a reflection of himself but of course it will be a different image of him that is a dramatic opposite of his true self.
I've only taken High School classes in FCP so Im probably a huge noob, but I have self taught myself a few things and am serious when it comes to the program.
If there are any tips or tricks please let me know!

THANKS IN ADVANCE :D

You can do this pretty simply...

1) Shoot it on a tripod. Don't ever move the camera.
2) Shoot it at an angle so that the person on screen never overlaps with the reflection.
3) Shoot the scene twice (once for each 'version' of the person).
4) Place the normal version of the character on V1 in FCP.
5) Place the opposite version on V2.
6) Drop a garbage matte on the V2 clip and crop it so that just the mirror/reflection remains and most of what you see is on V1.

done.
