Belkin Dual Auto Charger and Garmin 200 nuvi

Hey guys,

I have read on reviews on other sites that this belkin dual charger has issues with garmin gps. I have heard the GPS thinks its being plugged into a computer (making it unusable).

I have a garmin nuvi 200w and an iphone 3g. I wanna charge both at the same time.

Can anyone confirm or deny this? or have a suggestion for my charging needs?

Turn on the garmin on battery power, press and hold the battery icon up near the top for a few seconds (5-10) and it will go into a diagnostic mode. Then plug in the power from your belkin charger/computer/whatever. Exit the diagnostic mode and it will reboot to be used as a gps and will charge. I hope that helps...
