As described in the title I've successfully updated my iphone 2g and Pwnage Tooled myself a new cracked firmware but when I run that through iTunes restore I immediately get error 21 and cannot proceed.
The phone came to me pwned at 2.1 since it had the bitten pineapple logo. I'm pretty sure this m eans I don't need to DFU in order to restore.
I've tried running in DFU but then iTunes won't even acknowledge it. I've tried DFU through a different windows machine and it runs fine for a while before crashing out at error 6001.
I really don't know what to do at this point. It's stuck in restore mode and doesn't want to change.
