first problem

my sister has a wireless network for there house when im over there i tried to connect but it does not show up in the list of networks does the iphone only support specific netork types?

at my other sisters house they "appear" to be broadcasting a wifi signal yet when i connect i have no internet?

anyone have any ideas on the matter?

My guess is that your iPhone doesn't recognize that type of WiFi signal. It may be an older signal or brand brand new one that iPhone doesn't recognize (this would be like an experimental WiFi). Other than that, I don't know.

another issue my other sister andher husband have a N Network setup for there wireless network and he has managed to get his Wii to connect is there anyway to configure the iPhone to connect to it as well?

Are you sure they don't have their SSID broadcast hidden?
Try a reset of network settings. Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings.
