I've got a 2GB stick installed and want to max out and add another 2GB. I'm looking to buy at my local CompUSA store. Is this ram ok for my Macbook? I did some homework but want to make sure!!!!

well i dont remember where i read it but 3,1-5,1 can take up to 6gb of ram one 2gb and one 4gb can someone confirm. but no the ram you need is here (http://www.compusa.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=2705975&CatId=4172) what you were looking at was desktop ram you need sodimm ddr2 for laptops.

update

here is the article (http://db.tidbits.com/article/9839) i read about the macbooks being about to use 6gb of ram. but that may cost a little much.
