iPhone 3G, JB problem after problem

OK, I have a unibody macbook,iPhone 3G on FW 2.2.1, a USB hub and Quickpwn and Pwnage tool. Here's my problem- Anytime I try to use the pwnage tools I always get something along the lines of-"wrong firmware bundle selected". I am completely stumped so any insight would be much appreciated.

Perhaps you selected the wrong firmware bundle? :p

Try using a different IPSW, or give QuickPwn a go? ;)

I should have said that I have the correct fw,2.2.1 and it's a complete file aswell, I have also downloaded the fw about 6 times through quickpwn, pwnage tool and websites, so there's no problem with the fw.
