My Tibook has returned from Germany, new Power Supply, for some reason they have replaced the case which was scratched, including the screen (the actualy LCD part and the Trackpadd)

Its good news!

Now I only have to get all the other stuff fixed.

Are you talking about the AC adapter or the power inverter being replaced?? That is what feeds power to the LCD. What are the 'other' things that need to be fixed??? How long was the turnaround time for your repair??? Oh yeah, your power spike that killed your systems... when are you getting a UPS??? :D

I hate a UPS but I happened not to be using it (I am stupidly lazy :))

THe power cables and internal power units have been replaced.

I am pretty happy.

I sent it on the friday last week and got it back on Wednesday, so thats 2 working days (sent Friday Night, dispatched Tuesday night)

Glad to see u got your Ti back Ensign. They didn't replace the mobo with an upgrade by chance did they?
