Can a MBA rev B be connected to a 30" monitor? The MBA specs say that the video can does support resolutions of up to 2650 x 1600 however I've seen posts that talk about a significant slowdown in MBA when powering larger monitors. If this is true, then rather than having the 30" screen display at a much lower resolution, can I have it behave like a 24" with only the center portion of the 30" be in use?

Thanks,
Sanjiv

:apple:Do not get a 30 inch yet unless you really have to. 16 response time at 1,799 get a vizio plasma 32 inch for $432. If you have to have Apple wait or get the redone 24 inch.:apple:

It sounds like a good idea, but it is a TERRIBLE one. It makes your computer feel like it is a Powermac G3 or something, everything is choppy and slow and crap. And this was with a early Macbook Pro.

I run video on my MBAir rev A, and my MBP 2.5 on my Sony Bravia LCD 40" and they run flawlessly. Don't have the MBAir rev B...🙁
