CD/RW availability ????

Recently enquired of the turnaround to have a CD/RW installed in a TiBook - was told by Apple the CD/RW option for TiBooks has been temporarily withdrawn here in Australia due to availability

Is this a worldwide problem due to what happened in Taiwan earlier this year coupled with supply and demand problem -> or does Apple have other plans in the near future?

Sounds like it!! Here in the UK the same problem exists.
