Myself and A few of my friends who also own 8 Core mac pros were invited by apple to take part in a private testing (and probably purchasing) of the next generation mac pro's. The invitation was sent from apple to .mac/me.com emails of a select group of mac pro owners. The Email included apples phone number and an extension to call to confirm that you will be taking part in the testing. I can't say much more because they might cancel it if they see this has gotten out.

Il try to take pictures of the new systems and update you in the next few days.

next tuesday

I'm confused here and suspecting BS. Why is a newly created user posting this, as apposed to MacRumors.com?

I am a new macrumors users because I have never needed an account to just VIEW the forums, this is the first time I actually needed to post anything. The reason that macrumors.com didn't post this is because they weren't one of the few to get invited. Happy? If not then I will find another apple rumors website to post them on.

Apple do bring in people for testing, but there is no way to know if this person is legit. I have never seen anyone claim they were part of internal testing, because I assume Apple NDA (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Non-disclosure_agreement) them heavily.

The next tuesday comment was purely mocking the idea that Apple will release new products "next tuesday".

OK let's assume this is legit, can you blame us for being suspect to a new user posting it?
Come on surely you can see our side to things? We are here many of us readin g MR 24/7 and then you see a thread like this it is a bit suspect.
Mind you I will GLADLY be proven wrong by you !!!

Screenshot of the invite. Screw pictures of the new systems; you'll be sued.

We just need a screenshot of the invite.

This forum is one of the most rabid because Apple makes them wait so long before product refreshes ;)

Just trying to build up some hype for the new system! I cant wait to see it.

No better hype machine than the collective minds (http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=635530) of the current (and soon to be) Mac Pro users of the forum itself.

Who better than we to know what Apple will do with their new machines? Our predictions rely on the facts we have been given, the knowledge we have of future componentry, and our past evidences pointing to Apple's future choices (I speak here of TDPs and other self-set limits of theirs).

Take a look at that link for everything we know, and if we have left something critical out, feel free to tell us and I'll add it to the first post.

I'm rather sad that you felt you needed to test our stability. ;) We're not all insane, blithering optimists; some of us know that Apple won't fulfill our every dream. :D Welcome to the forums, and please stick around!
