Buying Sony Bravia 40v4100 tv question!

I am buying a Sony Bravia 40v4100 tv and I was wondering if I should add a Onkyo HT-S3100 HT System for only $100.00 more ? Would the Onkyo HT-S3100 HT System be an upgrade to the built in speakers in the Sony Bravia tv?
