I have two networks at home, one 5GHz from the Time machine linked by ethernet to the g band router. This allows time machine to make use of the faster speeds for backup, but means I also have a network that my iPhone can use.
Problem is my iMac cannot see the 5GHz network anymore. I know it is still there as my Apple TV can still connect to it fine. This is in the same room as my iMac.
The iMac has been acting a bit screwy recently, and when I repaired permissions last there were half a dozen that could not be repaired. Could the two be linked? Do I have to do a fresh install of OSX if I cant repair the permissions?
