I am thinking about buying some wholesale water pipes from this company in China http://www.liangdianup.com/tobacciana_z.htm (http://www.liangdianup.com/tobacciana_z.htm)
but I am not sure if they are legal to bring in to the states? What are the laws on water pipes, bongs, and pipes?

they're legal, at least here in Oregon. You can buy them at headshops. I don't know about the rest of the US.
Also: those pipes are super cool

EDIT: What is a water pipe? I take it that you smoke a marijuana with it, right?

They are legal everywhere in the USA as long as you do NOT associate them with certain green plants. If you do it is called "paraphernalia" and you can get in trouble then.


You have to say they are for tobacco or something.

Isn't why it's called Apple? Cause it's named after the Hippy Commune he used to hang out with that was at a Apple Orchard.

The bite in the Apple is like the Adam and Eve story which the fruit was thought to be some sort of psychedelic like.... LSD.


So maybe Jobs smokes out too, I mean he sure loves music. :cool:

Selling bongs, pipes etc. is legal in US as long as they are associated with tobacco ;) I've seen many stores selling them in NY, NJ, PA state. There are also many US dealers selling them online (based in Chicago area)


On the other hand I also thought this thread will be about water-cooling for MP :)

Maybe something along the lines of, "dude, what if the Mac Pro... instead of hard disks had it's bays filled with Phish CDs? Or like... a mighty mouse that's really a mouse!
