ok, so I posted a thread earlier stating that I was having probs dling from cydia. Is there any other way of dling these aps onto my pc and transferring them onto the iPhone? I'm sure there most probably is.

I have a few questions on this. What would be the program to use to be able to transfer these apps to my iPhone so they can be installed via Cydia? And also what are the best sites to get the apps from in the first place. Thanks for any help in advance,

Bhav

First of all you cant transfer CYDIA apps into itunes only cracked itunes apps. If its not in itunes then you cant transfer into itunes. But if you want your cracked itunes apps to transfer into your iphone then download mobile installation patch from CYDIA. Hope that made sense

SSH. Use WinScp for Windows, and CyberDuck for Mac. There's a guide on how to SSH in these forums.

Thanks for the replies. I've got my phone connected to my computer via SSH and now all I want to know is where can I get hold of apps to transfer to my phone. I'm also guessing that its not just a matter of transferrring the apps on but activating and installing them somehow? Are there any guides on how to do this? Thanks for all the help people.

Why not just use Cydia ON THE PHONE, with a wifi connection?

Browse apps, download. Install is automatic.

I may be out to lunch on this, but as far as I know, Cydia apps aren't meant to be downloaded to your PC.
