Starcraft in Leopard; not loading

Hey everyone

I've downloaded a legal copy of Starcraft: Broodwar from the blizzard account site. It downloaded and installed with no issues (According to the console and the installer).
When I go to run the program, the icon bounces on my dock a few times, then just closes.
Any ideas? I'm trying to run it on the macbook in my signature, an early 2008 model.

You'll need to patch it up manually. The Macbook you have has issues using the 256 colour modes (Apple/Intels fault) that Starcraft relies on. Blizzard removed the need for it recently. You can find the patch here
