Ok, so I've started to redo my itunes library. The reason being is I'm recording all my music via Apple Lossless, as I was before but to a new HDD. I'm also tagging my music with great detail. Including:
Chart info via chart stats (http://www.chartstats.com), wikipedia (http://www.en.wikipedia.org/) & everyhit (http://www.everyhit.com) & adding a desctiption of the album/ track.

I will also be using Allmusic (http://www.allmusic.com) for Genre, styles & then add my own moods. I did try to use Moody Moods (http://www.crayonroom.com/moody.php) but didn't find it very friendly with the gui. good for the basic tagging but not for advanced tagging.

My problem is at the moment, trying to find something like what Metax done for video tagging for audio tagging. It does work, but the advance side (Release date +) only for iTunes downloads. I'm trying to find something that can add a long description, short descirption, release date & comments & maybe even an option for the artist website?

I'm starting to look into the option of learning how to use applescript to create a peice of software to allow for this to be done more efficiancy. I've tried looking on dougscripts (http://dougscripts.com/itunes/) but with no luck. Does anyone have any luck with tagging lossless files themselfs with such detail or is anyone good with AppleScript? I'm sure I'm not the only person who would find this usefull? It just means a have a detailed library, together with genius I could create more detailed playlists.

Anyhelp, pointers or suggestions for free software would be welcome. I don't believe in paying to do the above, so if I am successful I will make this available to anyone for free.

Cheers guys
