So, I just downloaded seasons 1-4 of The Office, and they're in .AVI files. How do I import them into my iTunes TV Show Library? MUST I convert them ALL first? 🙁

Note, I want to view them on my iPod also.

You'll need to convert for iPod with iSquint or other similar software.

You're gonna get flamed for pirating films.

This is the internet, bud. Am I supposed to care? 😛

What would my other options be?

I already got my question answered, and I'll continue.

All we can really do is tell you not to pirate copyrighted material. But if you still want to, I suppose there's nothing we can do to stop you from doing so. But that doesn't excuse your arrogance.

Yes, I'm afraid you are going to have to convert them all. It's frustrating, I know, but the converter program I use ( called free ipod video converter ) let's you make a selection of the files you want to convert, and has the option of shutting down when converting is done, so you can leave it converting while you sleep . . . that's what I did.

I did NOT convert pirated movies, I converted files I had bought myself . . .

You can use something like ATV Flash. Once your Apple TV is hacked, you can FTP into your Apple TV (AppleTV.local, username and password: frontrow) and upload the .AVI files into the Media directory.
