Hi guys. Just came back from the Apple store. Finally had some time to take my REV A in due to glitchy video and overheating. Thought they would be able to fix it there and then, and redo the paste or something, bit they sent it off. Is this standard procedure? Any chance I can hope for a new one? Hehe
Thanks, M

There's always hope for a new one. If they can't fix it or if the cost to fix it exceeds the cost of giving you a new one - you'll be getting a new one. Though it may be a refurb A.

Hey Mat!
What a rev. b you mean or a new rev. a?
I think neither is possible. They ll probably just reapply the thermal paste properly, a common issue here with a lot of users. Do you use the undervolting update for the air that via crippling your cores you can actually get to watch youtube? Or something like coolbook on?

They won't give you a new one, but if you have many other problems like you have to send it in for 2 other things, definitely count on getting a new rev b.
