Yet another way that the Mac OS is superior to windblows... 😀
Being able to remove software that easily has always been part of the Mac OS, at least as far as I have been using it (from 1988 forward).
I'll leave it to anyone that knows programming (for the Mac) or that has built software to get into the gorey details about why it is so. Suffice to say, when you install something on a Mac, there are only so many places to put things. Most software just needs to have a preference file along with the software package. Some applications also require extensions to be placed into the system folder, but if you use your brains, you can usually figure out which those are. You don't have to go through the software remove pain that windblows forces on you with the Mac (even with OS X, it's better then windblows). Some installers do include remove features, to allow you to rapidly remove an application, and all of it's parts, but those are very rarely needed.
