I have a quicktime video of some footage and the quicktime
is 100 MB. I would like to post this to my website for web viewing...
I have a hunch that 100 MB is way to big....?
What is a good way to compress it for the web ?
thanks !

no answer ?
You're asking an incredibly vague question.
I'd say go back to the program you exported the video from (eg. iMovie) and export it to a lower setting. Or, import the video you've got into iMovie and export it again into a smaller export setting.
Or, alternatively, upload the video to YouTube, and embed it to your website.

How about giving some useful info?
100MB is meaningless.
How long is the video? How important is quality? What is the video of? How much storage/bandwidth do you have on the server? What were the original export settings?
You're going to need to export it at a smaller setting, but what will depend on the answers to the above.

ok. it is a 10 minute video clip,
where i would like to keep the quality very high.
the size should be around 500 pixels.

Then 100MB is about right.
