I'm about to give my parents an iMac G3/600 with Panther on it. They have an old iMac with OS 8.6 (I think). They will be getting a cable modem to connect to Internet.
I'd like to be able to connect to their computer when they have problems, and they will have problems. Pretty novice users. I plan on leaving my user profile on the PC and set up a new one for them. Never had another user set up. How should I do this and what would you recommend for restricting access so they don't do harm?
I know I can connect remotely but will I have access to my admin account? I plan on telling them to never shut down and only use sleep. Pretty sure I can wake it up by connecting remotely.
