Hello, i am planning to buy my very first mac and was thinking of just waiting a few months until the next update. My question is can anyone speculate if apple will update the video card to something better than the 9600M? Anyone think they would upgrade to a Geforce 9700M on the next refresh?

The MacBook Air currently has the 9400 in it, not the 9600. I doubt anybody is sure what they will upgrade it to or when that upgrade will be.
Unless you are in desperate need of a low powered, very light laptop I'd take a look at the new MacBooks. They are very thin and light also (albeit not as thin and light as the MacBook Air) but are more powerful, have a disk drive and bigger HD.

They'll probably upgrade the graphics card & CPU on the next refresh.
If anybody knows when this refresh is, can they let us know?
