when buying a steady cam what is the best brand or what should i be on the look out for. Also for proffesional recording what else would i need (accessory wise):rolleyes:

Glidecams are pretty nice and not too expensive.

Depends what you're doing.
Some nice lenses would be handy, if your camera has interchangeable lenses. A light panel could be handy or some actual studio lights. A filter kit. A decent tripod. A good kit bag (i recommend Kata). DOF adapter for 35mm lenses.
In fact the list goes on and it depends what you're doing. ENG stuff you won't need half of that (an excellent shotgun mic). If you're just messing around and creating mini-movies you might want cheap versions of alot of those.

Lights are the first thing to get, then microphones.
Getting a stedicam should be really low on your list till you have the basics.

Your question is far too broad to be taken seriously. Each shooting situation is different and may require a wide variety of "tools" or accessories to complete successfully. Being a professional you should already understand that fact.
