10 GB iPod mini by 2005

A new HD technology breakthrough means that Microdrive tech will be pushed to 10GB and more by 2005. Possible applications are increased storage for the mini.

my next ipod will be a 15 or 20 gig mini

i like the minis but i want it to fit all my music...and i don't need a new one for a long time...so i can wait 3 years..i think they'll have them by then...hey 3 years ago they had 5 gig ipods now they have 40

This is good to hear. I think it's reasonable to expect the iPods to shift to the mini form factor eventually. I think the scroll wheel is much improved. My next iPod will be a Video iPod....maybe.
