I searched on here, but couldn't find the exact problem I had. I apologize if this is a duplicate thread ahead of time.

Anyway, I went to boot into Vista and when I held down the option key only my leopard partition showed up. I was concerned so I booted in OS X and tried to run it through Fusion. No good.

However, the untitled hard drive icon appears as it used to, and it has all my files in there still and says it's still using the space and everything. I went into System Pref and chose to default boot in Windows and restarted, but was prompted with the message that there is no cd or image to boot from.

Is there anything I can do without starting completely over?

Ouch, tough luck.

I have not seen this issue before. I would suggest running Disk Warrior on your drive to see if your Boot Camp partition is corrupted, but it might cause other issues.

This is what I would do:

1) Backup all your important data from the partition you need. If it's mainly Steam games (like I have). No need to worry, you can re-download them.

2) Run Disk Warrior on your drive to check for issues. DO NOT REPAIR. Since your partition is NTFS (or FAT) Disk Warrior can mess up the file system because it's mainly used for HFS and HFS+ systems.

OR

2) Find a Window's Disk checker or something of the sorts and see if you can have it seen/mount the drive.

3) If the above doesn't work, use Boot Camp Assistant to get rid of the drive, and start over.

I know I don't know what to do with it.

I'm getting Disk Warrior in a bit and I will check that, thank you very much!!
