I have three applications which are supposed to launch on login. I Tunes Helper, Skype, and Mac_SwapperDemon.

The box next to Mac_SweeperDemon is checked, while the other two apps are unchecked.

Whenever I turn on my computer, none of the three applications are visibly opened.

Two questions:

Why do I need to use the hide function?

Why are all three application windows not opened whenever I turn on my computer?

I am confused...

iTunesHelper is a faceless background application (meaning it has no user interface, and doesn't need to be hidden). I don't know about the other two though.
