On the look out for a video capture device that handles component video, as well as the usual composite/s video inputs. Narrowed my search down to the following four devices, I wondered if anyone in the forums had used any of them and could offer advice on these or others.

ADS TECH pyro a/v link video capture - $150 (http://www.mwave.com/mwave/SkuSearch_v2.asp?SCriteria=3879917)

Canopus ADVC700 - $1800 (http://desktop.thomsongrassvalley.com/products/ADVC700/index.php)

Black Magic Video Recorder - $149 (http://www.blackmagic-design.com/products/videorecorder/)

Avid Liquid 7 Pro - $850 (http://www.videoguys.com/liquidfamily.html)

I’m worried the cheap options are just rubbish (how can a $150 one be good when Canopus are selling composite-only models for double that?) Are there any camcorders that accept component in and digital pass-through? Ideally want to import using iMovie/Final Cut Express via fire wire but would settle for bundled software. Thanks!
