View Full Version : Question to anyone that knows Logic Pro's interface.

I have a condenser mic hooked up to my Profire 2626 along with monitor speakers. Everything is in the same room.

Is there anyway to mute the monitor speaker while recording with the mic, so I don't get any feedback. I would still like to hear out of the headphones though. I have been just turning the monitors off while recording vocals but that gets annoying and I'm sure its not great to keep turning them on and off.

Goto preferences -> audio -> click off software monitoring. I think thats it...

That didn't work, thanks for the try though.

I found a way around my problem by just switching the output away from the monitor speakers but then I can only use one set of headphones at a time.
