I have the opportunity to purchase a single G5 Cluster Node. It's a dual 2.0 GHz 4 GB RAM, 80 GB HD for $300.

Seems like a good deal, but what can I do with it?

Is there any economical way to turn it into a desktop mac? I read the Everymac.com specs on it, and I know it doesn't include video and only 1 drive bay. But are the connectors there to add more drives? Is there a PCI video card I can install in the 1U case?

My main computer is a Mac Pro, so can the two function together some how? I imagine Remote Desktop or VNC would have to come into play. How would I even set up the G5 Cluster node in the first place?

I basically know nothing about servers so any help would be great. Thanks!

BTW: I don't do any serious work with my Macs. Just a hobby.
