I am currently using a Late 2007 MacBook 2.2Ghz and I will be getting the Unibody 2.0 Ghz very soon. Anybody know what the performance difference will be, given all else remains the same? I just want to know the difference between the T7500 and the P7350?

If the OP wasn't able to figure out that as years go by, technology advances and computers get faster, then this will confuse the **** out of him/her.

I don't know if I understand the charts.

Take home message, the 2ghz Unibody is faster than the 2.2ghz previous chip. Plus, the P-series Intel's have a lower power consumption than the T-series chips.

I get all of that, but I want to know if the difference will be significant or subtle?

Seeing how the score goes from 186-->195, the difference is less than 5% it would appear. In most cases as well, the time to encode/zip/unzip is <5 seconds faster for the Al-Book as well.

I get that, but I'm optimistic.

Depends on what you'll be doing with it. If 'Safari feels snappier' it's all in your head. If you're doing a lot of, say, video encoding and your activity monitor tells you that you're squeezing every last processor cycle out of your current rig, you may notice that it doesn't quite take as long with the uni.
Is it just me, or does the inclusion of the 9400 nvidia chip in the new/old white macbooks make it a lot more attractive option for the money?

You are talking about the MacBook White that they currently sell for $999? Yea, it sure does. Plus, some people like white. I personally prefer the aluminum unibody more than anything. When I bought my white MacBook in February 2008, that was the only thing I was afraid of Apple updating. I just wanted aluminum outside like the old MBPs but they redid the whole shabazz with the unibody design.

You're optimistic about what? The numbers tell the story, if you don't want to believe benchmarks, don't...
