IMAP autodetect problems

I'm trying to set up IMAP on my iPhone for an email account I have with register.com.

Problem is, the iPhone insists on auto-detecting whether this is a POP or IMAP account and will not let me enter it manually. For register.com, the server name is the same for each:

So it autodetects POP, but I want IMAP. Does anyone know how to change this without using apple mail? (I have a lenovo)

I have tried changing the port number to 143 but this just causes a connection error. I also tried imap.domainname.com, but that doesn't exist.

Any thoughts?
