This CNN Article says sony and Phillips is comming out with double capacity DVD Burners.

I doubt it but what do I know...

Of course I do wonder how much the media will be, DVD disc are getting to be under $1 a disc and falling, so I will just stick with single layer DVDs for now.

Anyways, the new BluRay drives should be out by the end of 2005.
They hold over 27GB single and 50GB dual layered.

I doubt it, Sony developed 2.1Gb Cds in the past but it never became a standard.

Yeah I got a non-standard cd once...

I think it exploded in my drive... haha.
