Just got iLife '09 and it looks like it's gonna be a blast. I have a few questions.
What should I use as a green screen? What color green? Where is a good place to buy it?
Also, anyone know how to make some good, quick lightsaber effects yet on the new iMovie?
Thanks a lot!

You should use a color that appears bright and vibrant on camera. But the most important thing is to make sure it is a unique color that doesn't appear in the clothes or skin tone of any of the subjects, because then you will have all sorts of keying problems.
I am not all that familiar with iMovie, but I would not expect a great light saber solution, as it can be a rather tricky thing to do that normally people use After Effects for.

Is there any updates on the Lightsaber effect in iMovie09?
What about Final Cut Express... should I get into that instead for Star Wars fan films (kids mainly, not serious hobby but family level movies).

Anyone know of any coders out there madly coding up an iMovie09 lightsaber plugin? (here's hoping)
