Okay not really a glitch but have no idea what it was, what happen is I have been using my iMac for most of the day so it has got fairly hot then i hear a clicky noise come from the left of my computer and the sreen twitched or something all the way accross for about a second....

Does anyone know what the hell it was?

*snap*... Sudden screen "adjustment"?

Hello,

If it sounded like a sharp "snap" that corresponded with the screen becoming smaller for a moment and then returning to normal, it was probably an electrical short ("arch") within the CRT.

This is a fairly common problem with CRTs and usually indicates that trouble is in your monitor's future. However, I've got a Radius 19" that's done that about once a week for well over 2 years. It's a little scary, but it hasn't failed yet.

okay, so long as it don't go dying I mean the reason I go apple is the better quality machines and OS's
