View Full Version : App Store Not Working after email change

I changed my itunes email from hotmail to gmail. I synced my ipod touch 1st gen and the app store won't work. I get the message "Please update your account information on your computer." I've checked to make sure everything is still correct. I think the itunes store is working because it let me download a podcast for free. What can I do to get the app store working again?

using OSX 10.5.6

With the iPod connected, de-authorize the computer from under the Store menu in iTunes. Reauthorize, and then sync your music or an application over. Eject the iPod, try downloading a free app or let it check for updates.
