I dont' know how it will run, but i recommend that you wait for the updates, it shouldn't be long until the new imacs come out hopefully.

I have the 24" with the 2600pro 256mb vram and i run at 1900x1200 res with almost everything all the way up. Only place that lags is Dalaran but that place is stupid lag no matter what type of computer you got. So the 20" with the same video card should run just fine since the res is 1680x1050.

It'll run just fine, even at 1680x1050 (20" iMac's native resolution).

I highly recommend that you wait until Apple updates the iMacs though, unless it's an emergency and you really need to buy an iMac. If not, hold off until the updates.

Prices should stay the same or maybe go down a little

+1 on waiting. If the price does go up, you can always buy a refurb, and better to wait a week or two and get the refreshed model than buy early and kick yourself.

Dalaran is OK, what will kill your frame rate are the battles in WG, especially if video settings are set to high.

Go to an :apple:Store, download the trial on an iMac and try it for yourself :)

The title should be "WoW" and not "WOW". Gives a different effect.;)

Are you allowed to do that?

I don't know why it would hurt, plus they reset the machines to like-new condition every night.

And what if the salesperson approached you and said "Yes how can i help you?"

"Ohh I'm just testing if WoW runs"

-.-

If you already have a Mac or access to a friend's Mac, you can put the entire WoW folder on an external HD and take that to the store. Might be more feasible than doing an entire WoW install in the store.
