I knew someone was going to say that. :D My hair is covering my top straps.

How does one go about taking accidentally awesome pics? I'd like to try it, seeing as I'm fairly unsuccessful at it.

Well, I opened Photobooth to look for a picture and clicked on the button by accident.

^^ and the thread is back on track :D No offense but that snap makes you look a bit cross-eyed..

It's not a bad photo at all. I think it was just the angle or proximity or something. :) Don't delete it.

Duh, London! It's where time and everything starts and ends, baby! Actually a lot of us from MR meet up for a picnic [of sorts] in london. It's been done for the last 4 years. I keep growing a beard then after a few weeks think that I don't like it and shave it all off (like I have done this week) then regret it because I think I look better with it. Impartial, cruel and unkind opinions are welcomed.....

That depends. My previous pair of Danskos (great when you are on your feet a lot at work) lasted 3 years before I gave them up, and the soles were actually still good.

That depends. My previous pair of Danskos (great when you are on your feet a lot at work) lasted 3 years before I gave them up, and the soles were actually still good.
The soles might be fine, but what really matters is the padding/arc support inside the shoe. The support system eventually break down.

I always chuckle when I tell people the highest "mountain" in NJ is 1800ft. lol.

This was a shot south where the smaller mountains were...if you looked east you'd see ridges without trees, probably half of the peaks in the White Mountains there are treeless... You should check it out when you get a chance! The AT trail there is pretty grueling.

I loved hiking the rockies, it's always fun to "break through" the treeline... I remember my brother's and I had a game when we were little to see who could first spot the pink snow. :)

Not the first time that's been said to me. I used to be a lot thinner and really did look like him. Thanks, it will be nine months on the 30th, and I have no complaints.

The language barrier of her English and my Japanese has proven to not be so bad either--early on we both learned a lot about nonverbal communication and how to read each other as such, though it hasn't been too much of an inhibitor since between the bi-lingual ability between the two of us (hers is better than mine...) we are still able to have meaningful communication at a deeper, more intellectual level.

(and if there's something that's just too deep for me she emails me [we dont text in japan, we email between phones] and i slowly decode each character one by one with the kanji dictionary on my iphone [thank god you gave us C+P, apple]...sounds funny but it does work if you get into something really deep, and I can do the same her way if needed).

it takes a bit of work but we both agree its been more than worth it. very happy together. :)

ive also turned her mac--shes got three ipods in six months--i got her a pink fourth gen nano, then she wanted a classic for an early xmas present, and then this weekend she sold the first pink one to upgrade to a new pink one :)
