Can anyone help me. I read the thread on how to open .iso files. I used both methods (Disk Copy and using Toast to mount it). After the file is mounted I double click on it and the same iso file appears. Am I doing something wrong or is the file faulty?

PS. If you can't tell I am am new to all of this. Thanks!

You don't need anything extra. Just double click on the iso and it should open.

Thanks Horror taxi but... maybe I'm juyst not getting it. I double click on the mounted image and a file appears. When I double click on that, I get a message telling that Disk copy cannot open that file. Is it safe to assume the file is messed up?

Maybe, you ought to just burn the .iso to CD. You can do with with Disk Utilities or Disk Copy--and, of course, Toast.
