I'm thinking about buying my roommates 2 year old Vizio 37" vx37l lcd tv. It's a good tv, was always impressed with the picture. It goes for around $720 on the internet. I'm wondering how much is a fair deal for this model?

If it's 1080p, I'd offer $600 in good condition.
720p, around $500

Sorry forgot to mention it's 720p, but it shouldn't really make a difference at that size

For a two year old LCD TV 720p I wouldn't pay more than $600. $550 is fair $450 is a bargain. Depends how bad your friend wants to get rid of it.

Are you saying you're buying your roommates a T.V
or you're buying the T.V from your roommates?

500 and buy him a bottle of his favorite liquor. Of course, offer 450, but I wouldn't pay more than 500.
