New MBPs and one FW800 port

Hi

I have a old version MBP 15" with both FW400 and FW800 ports. And I find I use them both when capturing from HDV over FW400 to an external FW800 drive.

So my question is... Before I consider upgrading - How can I do this on the new MBP's
