Can anyone shed any light on this link I've found below.....suggests Yellowsn0w are on the verge or have done an unlock of 2.2.1........so maybe its just around the corner!!

http://www.blogsdna.com/2370/download-yellowsn0w-098-to-unlock-iphone-3g-221.htm

"When Apple has released Firmware 2.2.1 for iPhone and iPod touch, iPhone dev team had warned to all iPhone users not to update their iPhone as you may lose the ability to unlock your iPhone. But Now you don’t have to worry as dev team is about to release latest version of Yellowsn0w 0.9.8 which is capable of unlocking iPhone 3G with firmware 2.2.1"

I doubt it. They would have at least said they were close to it, probably.

I think it's going to take longer, they have to find new holes.

They could be close to it, and perhaps just not saying anything so they aren't forced into giving out an ETA or the program still in development 🙂

The current version is 0.9.8 and it has nothing to do with baseband 2.30.0 Sounds like a ploy if you ask me.
